These machines have a rich history. They are P&H’s answer for the modern hydraulic shovel market. These machines are extremely well built and that eventually what lead to them being discontinued. The 2250 is one of the best built hydraulic shovels every created in their size range. P&H worked hard to make this machine easily moved yet heavy duty enough to last in heavy duty conditions. P&H was not willing to cheapen and lighten their machine in order to compete with the cheaper foreign machines that became popular in todays markets.
